Attribute filters

Every object in the directory service is identified and described by attributes. The number of attributes for an object can be great and this is determined by the schema of a directory service. Userbooster enables you to create attribute filters (see Figure 1) so that when an attribute filter is applied to a profile, only those attributes specified in the filter will be retrieved from and sent back to the directory service. This increases performance and simply improves the efficiency of viewing and editing attributes.

You can apply an attribute filter to a profile by selecting it on the Attribute Filter page in the Profile Assistant dialog (see Figure 2).
