SSL/TLS support
As more and more companies build up and maintain a central LDAP repository, the use of secure LDAP connections becomes a "must have". Userbooster provides this functionality out of the box. When the SSL/TLS check box on the Server Properties page is ticked (see Figure 1), Userbooster communicates with the directory service across a network in a way that prevents eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
The standard port number for SSL/TLS-secured LDAP is 636, though you can specify a custom port if necessary.
