    Information on menus and commands

A menu displays a list of the available commands. Next to some of these commands are symbols, so that the command can be easily allocated to the symbol in the symbol bar. Other commands are allocated to hotkeys (recognisable by the underlined letter) and keyboard commands, so that general tasks can be carried out very quickly.

Menus are opened by pressing Alt + [Hotkey] and then selecting a menu command by pressing the hotkey. To open the menu "Edit" and select the Cut command, press Alt+B, and you can then use the keyboard command Ctrl+X for the command "Cut".

In addition to the menus at the upper edge of the window, context menus also show commands which are relevant for the active page.

How to display a context menu:

    • Position the pointer over the page.

    • Click with the right mouse button. The context menu appears at the point on which you clicked.
